MARINA FOUNTOULAKI

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Athens University and holds an LLM in European Law from ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles), Belgium. She is a member of Athens Bar Association and admitted to the Greek Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) and the Council of the State.

Marina started her practice in 1990 as an associate at the late Dionysios Gouskos Law Office and then established her own law firm in Piraeus in 1993 and since 2005 in Athens.

She has acted as legal counsel of Olympic Aviation S.A. (2000-2011) dealing with sale and purchase and lease of airplanes and helicopters, supply of spares, mergers of affiliates and labour affairs. Since 2011 she is a member of the legal department of the Greek Tourism Organisation dealing with public contracts, contracts for the supply of services and goods and a wide range of affairs involving Administrative Law.

Since 1990 she has been handling real property affairs on behalf of Dioceses, Monasteries of the Holy Church of Greece, legacies, associations, foundations and NGO’s, administrative and criminal cases of all degrees and jurisdictions including assets management in Greece on behalf of foreign individuals and companies.

Originating from Elounda, Crete, she is the co-founder of “Manolis Fountoulakis Library”, a non-profitable association with a significant cultural presence in Crete and Athens. She is founding member of the “Association of Friends of the Mission of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Zambia”.

She speaks Greek, English and French.
